16 adjustable DFX. Three channels.

Marshall's AVTX line of amplifiers is the culmination of a decade's worth of evolution and innovation since the birth of the original Valvestate. All models now feature a new contemporary look and all AVT50X, AVT100X, and AVT150X models include automatic variable speed fans, ensuring their place as the market leader.

The AVT100X heralds a whole new era of Marshall Valvestate. In addition to housing 16 adjustable DFX, this combo has three channels, each one voiced to give the broadest possible range of tones.

Clean: From the cleanest clean to a natural, valve-induced, bluesy crunch and anywhere in-between. A Bright switch enhances high-end definition at low Gain settings.

Overdrive 1: Takes you from the dynamic raunch of a 1959 'Plexi' to the larger-than-life crunch of a cranked JCM800. A Scoop switch reconfigures the EQ to give you that classic thrash sound of the '80s.

Overdrive 2: From the primal angst of a hot-rodded JCM800 to extreme gain. Hit the Scoop switch to produce the brutal, bone-crushing slam of modern ('nu') metal.

The 16 DFX are adjusted by the following controls: DFX Mix, DFX Adjust, and DFX Select. A Parallel FX Loop, complete with Mix control, is also included for added flexibility. The supplied 4-way LED foot controller allows you to switch the DFX on/off. Other features include a Headphone jack and a Speaker Emulated Line Out.

very satisfied there are a few probs about it 1- could be louder but thats just me talking, 2-front panel could look better, 3- to heavy, but all amps are like that lol but all in all 1 great amp i love it and i am going to have it for a few years. recomended for the band thats about to get into gigs. suitable for gyms, halls, audotoriums and large audotoriums. and anything smaller then them. also great for the good old practice jams in the garage.

Sound
top quality rich sound. clear on everything marshall ahve done a great job. could be louder though. there is a bit of comp between the marshall avt100x and the fender 65r. sounds awsome with my monterey lp copy.

Features
this amp features 16 digital effects i only use the reverb/chorus one and it sounds great. it has 2 overdrive channells i use the first one as i aint a big heavy metal fan and a really lovely clean sound.

Ease of Use
very simple to use. pretty heavy if buying i recommend gettin wheels for it, if buying.

Quality
heavy duty. it could hold in the worst conditions like my shed for example lol.

Value
worth the 900 big ones especially for a big time brand.

Manufacturer Support
i dont no anything about the support but i hav read a lot of reviews before and it is marshall were talking. top quality stuff. famous bands use them so the support read more must be excellent.

The Wow Factor
i personally dont lyk the look of the front pannel jusf how the volume knobs are placed but the old saying goes, ugly on the outside beutifle on the inside.
