This throne is about as rock solid as you can get for the price. I'm not a huge fan of motorcycle style seats because I can never seem to get centered on them as I would like. The Mapex throne has just the right amount of cushioning for me so that my butt doesn't go into suspended animation, but firm enough so that I don't feel like I am on a cruise ship. The base is extremely sturdy and I like the plastic feet. Great buy.... thanks Mapex!!!
