Overview

The progressively-styled KSXT KellyStar has a new, original body style to premiere. She flashes a blend of a Rhoads and Kelly and is loaded with Duncan Design humbuckers and a JT500LP double-locking tremolo. Her Alder body has also been seen with a flamed Maple top for those cold winter nights. The bolt-on Maple neck features a reverse headstock, a Rosewood fingerboard, 24 frets, 25.5" scale length, and shark fin inlays.

"Jackson KSXT"

Jackson sold this guitar in 2 forms one was a KSXT the other was a KELLYSTAR. THE KSXT is the less expensive (599) that came with Duncan Designed pick-ups. These guitars sound like crap and need real Duncans. I got one for 700 with a hard case and immediately dropped in a real Duncan invader and I used a real Jackson out of a Rhodes guitar for the bridge. Very easy to set up using Markleys blue steels i used. 009 to .046. This guitar now sounds awesome through my Marshall.
