i would buy another one just to have it.
Sound
if you like heavy metal this is the brand you want. the pick-ups are very sensitive to the slightest nudge of a pick. no static sounds from them either. very high quality distortion pick-ups, cause thats what jackson is about.
Features
pretty standard, except some come with a locking tremolo that can be a pain to tune. the floyd rose seems to keep everything in tune, except you might have to raise the action a little on it if you are going to play drop C or lower. some loose parts when you get them, but nothing vital.
Ease of Use
the jumbo frets will make it easier for anybody to play. a short neck so you don't have to stretch so much. THE ACTION IS EXCELLENT! the strings run really close to the fretboard so a soft touch will do for fretting. the smooth frets make it easier to slide around.
Quality
probably the best brand I've come across. very well built and sturdy enough to last someone a lifetime. all hardware right down to the knobs are metal. they have a really tough coat of paint on the body and the hardware thats colored. Basically everything is well built and hard to wear out.
Value
whatever price you buy it for you'll have to spend double to find another guitar thats just as good. double the quality for half the price.
