A Fast and Furious Design

The Jackson SL2H Soloist has an 8-pound alder body with a flamed maple top that looks striking under its transparent colored gloss finish. The guitar is a neck-thru-body construction that feels rock-solid in your hands, and helps you deliver endless sustaining notes. The neck itself is quarter-sawn maple with an ebony fingerboard, with mother-of-pearl Shark Fin inlays on 10 of the 24 jumbo frets. It measures .790 inches at the 3rd Fret and .850 inches at the 12th Fret. The whole guitar has a 25.5-inch scale length.
