Overview
Combining form and function, the Iron Label SIR70FD guitar by Ibanez is an exciting made-for-metal instrument. Cloaked in an Iron Pewter finish and sleek bound rosewood fretboard makes for a dramatic silhouette. Lurking beneath the graceful 3-D shape is mahogany specifically chosen for the Iron Label Series of electric guitars.
The Ibanez SIR70FD Iron Label is light enough in terms of comfort, heavy enough to provide the tone and sustain that Ibanez is known for. As the originators of the thin, fast neck, the Nitro Wizard neck is yet another achievement in playability, providing the kind of comfort that translates to responsiveness and speed. The best-of-all-worlds DiMarzio pickup configuration provides an impressive palette of distorted tone textures.

I have been a fan of S series guitars since the 90's and Ibanez has always been one of my favorite brands, so naturally I had to try out the Iron label. For starters this guitar is not for anything but metal and hard rock. the neck is really fast and the jumbo frets are awesome, but they feel really rough and thick along the edges, but once you get used to them they aren't bad, and they don't interfere with your playing. If you even think you want this guitar and you are into metal you don't want to pass this one up.
