What's special about this item?

Feature: What it does:
3-piece maple neck Improved strength and stability; clear tone
Mahogany body Rich, warm, focused sound; added sustain
Rosewood fretboard Open, warm tone and smooth playing feel
Wizard II-7 neck Fast-playing for easy attack

If Ibanez can lay claim to the title of being the strongest name in Metal guitars, then the RGA is the model this reputation was built on. Every inch of this classic screams speed, fury, and expression.

The Ibanez RGA732 is a hardtail 7-string electric built around a Mahogany body sporting a "down-to-business" Weathered Black finish. Its contoured top not only looks sleek -- it creates a softer, more comfortable edge where the player's right forearm rests. Other features include a fast, thin, Wizard II-7,3-piece Maple neck and Rosewood fretboard with jumbo frets for maximum left hand performance. This neck and fretboard combination provides a smooth, inviting playing surface and contributes to the RGA732's warm, well-defined tonality. Proprietary Quantum 7 pickups offer an entire palette of thick, distorted tone textures that never sacrifice high-end articulation. A simple, yet solid fixed 7 bridge provides stable, dependable tuning and accurate intonation.

I Just bought this guitar. The pickup pockets are extremely shallow. If you intend on upgrading the stock pickups make sure you don't get the Seymour Duncan nazgul and sentient. The pole pieces are too long. The finish is alright but the wood dings extremely easy. The screw holes stripped in the process of just unscrewing them from the body. My Jackson js227 that I had to sell a while back was better than this guitar and half the price. Should have went with my gut and bought it again. I love ibanez but this guitar is disappointing.

Musical Background:

10 years of playing. I own an ibanez RC320 and I love it.

Musical Style:

Melodic hardcore, progressive, metal.
