Unless this bass is lost or stolen, it should last me until I can no longer play. If it ever needs repair, I am sure I will repair it rather than replace it. It feels that good. Lost or stolen? I will be looking for another one just like it.
Sound
I am 55 years old and I wanted "old school", and this bass is everything I wanted. My previous bass was a Yamaha RBX series played through Marshall and Fender amps. In addition to using these amps, I plan to purchase an Ampeg next year. I am sure that this Jet King will sound totally awesome with the Ampeg tone.
Features
It is a simple bass. Everything I need is on this bass.
Ease of Use
Great design! Feels great! Very playable!
Quality
Perfect! Not a blemish on it! Ibanez quality control is obviously on the ball.
Value
This bass is well worth what was paid for it. And from what I have seen online, it will hold it's value and then some. This bass will surely be one of those guitars that commands a high price years after Ibanez has stopped producing it.
Manufacturer Support
Haven't had it long enough to need support. To answer this support question, I did something that I always do prior to making a major purchase. I simply Googled "Ibanez support". Not a single negative result was returned. That says a lot about Ibanez.
The Wow Factor
Very sexy! I wanted the "old school" look. It fits the bill!
