zZounds Gear Experts Say...
Set neck. Flame maple top. EMG humbuckers.

It seems like only yesterday that a guitar built like this would have cost double or triple what the VP200FM costs! Now, thanks to ESP, you can own a set neck, flame top guitar for only a few hundred bucks. A full 24 fret on this double-cutaway design is almost too good to be true. And check out the rest of the features: EMG-HZ humbuckers (H4), a solid Tune-o-matic bridge with a stop tailpiece, an agathis body, a 3-piece mahogany body with a rosewood fingerboard & 24 XJ frets, black hardware, and even neck & headstock binding (white). ESP is doin' it right with the VP200FM.

EMG-H4
The H4 is the equivalent of EMG's 81 Active Pickup without the "Active". It uses two bar-loaded coils for that "Balls to the Walls" tone. The EMG-H4 pickup has become a bridge pickup of choice for the ESP.

Double Action Truss Rods
All ESP/LTD guitars and basses feature a 'double-action' truss rod design. Unlike a normal (single) truss rod, this one is adjustable in two different directions. This means that you'll never run into a situation where the neck has 'run out of adjustment'. Regardless of which ESP model you choose, you'll get years and years of playing enjoyment.

i have had this guitar for about 3 years and im not looking for a new one yet, its perfect, i wouldnt mind getting the 400 though with the active pickups
Sound
the emgs are awsome, it sounds great, of course the kind of amp you have has alot to do with this, but its great, very good for heavy music
Features
it came as just the guitar, but thats all that i needed, the volome and tone knobs will come off after a period of time, but you can use a little glue and get them back on no problem
Ease of Use
the neck is very nice, the pickups are some of the best, it plays very nice, but once again the better the amp you have the better sound and sound variences you are going to get, plus peddles and all that good stuff
Quality
the product is very sturdy the only problem i had was the knobs came off and the first one i orderd i had to send back due to a crack on the back of the neck probably due to shipping, other than that its beautiful, you wont find another guitar made like this for this price, esp is the way to go
Value
this is deffintly the best product for the price, you get very good quality for a low price, esp is good at this, you are getting pickups and a quality guitar that other companies charge almost twice as much for
Manufacturer Support
i havent delt with any of the support because i havent needed to
The Wow Factor
its the sexisest guitar i have owned, this goes for alot of the esp's i think they are the most visually appealing guitars on the market especially the vipers
