27 in.-scale. Set neck. EMG humbuckers.

The Baritone Viper!
Wanna scare the neighbors? All it takes is your favorite amp, a little volume, and the VB200! Tuned like a 7-string without the high E, the baritone gives you all the extended low-end range you could ever dream of. The 27 in.-scale VB200 is a set-neck guitar, powered by EMG-HZ humbuckers (the H4 set). ESP builds the VB200 with a mahogany body, a 3-piece maple neck, and a rosewood fingerboard with 24 XJ frets. Its black hardware includes a Tone-o-matic bridge with a stop tailpiece.

EMG-H4
The H4 is the equivalent of EMG's 81 Active Pickup without the "Active". It uses two bar-loaded coils for that "Balls to the Walls" tone. The EMG-H4 pickup has become a bridge pickup of choice for the ESP.

Double Action Truss Rods
All ESP/LTD guitars and basses feature a 'double-action' truss rod design. Unlike a normal (single) truss rod, this one is adjustable in two different directions. This means that you'll never run into a situation where the neck has 'run out of adjustment'. Regardless of which ESP model you choose, you'll get years and years of playing enjoyment.

"ESP VB 200: A Musicians Dream."

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars

I expect to be satisfied for life. The only thing that I might do is customize the finish. Other than that, it's not even worth to upgrade the pickups to active because the pickups are EMG 81'a without the active part in it.

Sound
This is the only guitar that I have played that matches the type of sound that I have always dreamed of. It's a musicians wish come true.

Features
The fact that its baritone is kick ass. One really great thing about this guitar is the EMG pickups. They are extremely powerful and they add the extra kick to the sound of the guitar. The tune-0-matic bridge reduces string breakage.

Quality
The quality of the product is excellent. It's a very well built guitar and the finish is of top quality. I have the see-thru cherry finish that really stands out and will turn heads. It's very durable. I've banged it a couple of times and nothing has happened to the guitar. This guitar will last you a life time, granted you don't set it out on the free way for an 18 wheeler to run over it.

Value
This product is worth way much more than what you pay for. Last year's model was worth almost twice as what it costs today. Because it was actually made in Indonesia instead of Korea, I guess that dropped the price down. Last year's model was worth about $700.

Manufacturer Support
The only thing that I didn't like was that read more it took forever to reach esp guitar company because they only have one office that recieves all of there calls. I haven't needed any service on it so I can't say anything about the repairs.

The Wow Factor
A friend of mine actually considered this guitar, and I quote, "pretty damn sexy." It has an SG body type but its slightly angled giving it a more curvy look. It's HOTT!!!

Nu Metal, metal, alternative, rock,
