What's special about this item?

Feature: What it does:
Macassar ebony fretboard High-density wood; smooth playing feel
3-piece maple neck Improved strength and stability; clear tone
Hipshot hardtail bridge String-thru for long sustain and great intonation
Extra Jumbo frets Larger frets for easier bends and improved feel

The LTD Black Metal Series quickly became one of ESP's most popular collections of guitars due to their brutal aesthetic look and streamlined performance with a crushing sound. With the LTD Arctic Metal Series, they've taken the same concept and flipped the color theme from the darkest of blacks to the coldest of frozen wastelands.

All Arctic Metal Series guitars have Snow White Satin finishes with stainless steel frets, a Macassar ebony fingerboard with no inlays and glow-in-the-dark side markers, and black hardware. They all include a single aggressive-sounding EMG 81TW pickup with a push-pull control for coil splitting.

I was very excited about this guitar, until I got it. The guitar in pictures is made in Korea, this one is made in Indonesia. Frets are sharp on top and bottom. It needs a full set up and frets dressed up before it's playable. Not sure if I'm going to keep it yet.
