Probably two/three years. I am interrested in how well the bolt-on neck will hold up. I am also interrested in the pick-ups. If this bass gets stolen, I believe I would buy another---only a 5-string--and a case.
Sound
I bought this bass as for a one time gig, and the price. Running this Bass through an old 'Bassman' amp, The tone is perfect for 'slapping' or a 'walking' style. The split pick-ups also allow for a deep driving rock sound that doesn't "mud" out. I am really impressed
Features
Just a simple, single, split pick-up bass without extras, but it gets the job done.
Ease of Use
This bass truly fits the bill for a rock group playing medium sized gigs. The most impressive feature to me is the neck. It is easier to play than a strat 'D'....I love it's feel and it needed no tweaking out of the box. The bass was actually 'in-tune' when I recieved it UPS.
Quality
Bolt on necks sometimes don't respond very well, and are (for the most part) tweakede or bent. This bass is very solid and is so straight that you could shoot a can at 1000 feet. Time will tell about the bolt-on, but I believe this bass will last a very long time.
Value
I was not aware you could purchase an instrument of this quality for $150. Many musicians think that unless a guitar costs thousands..it's no good. Unless you are playing with Queen or Jeff Beck, this… read more bass will make most players happy. Of course, if you are playing big gigs or stadiums...you would need more guitar but, for the average bass player, this is a great giggin' bass. The neck will 'sell' the bass.
Manufacturer Support
ZZsounds kept me informed up untill I recieved the instument. GREAT service.
The Wow Factor
The 'LTD' is a great looking instrument....not too heavy, and balanced.
Musical Background:
"old" player, keepin' it real
Musical Style:
