Charvel builds the scorching-hot Pro Series Model A with a Mahogany body, a Quilt Maple top on the transparent-finish models, and incredibly loud Seymour Duncan Live Wire Heavy Metal humbuckers. These pickups sound huge with tons of mids, harmonics, sustain and incredible output. The Model A has a quartersawn Maple neck with a 24 jumbo-fret Ebony fingerboard and black hardware. Ebony is simply the optimum fingerboard wood with all the warmth of Rosewood and the tightly grained brightness of Maple. Other features include a JT580LP double-locking 2-point tremolo bridge, and black hardware. Supplies of this instrument are limited and when all guitars have been sold, this special price is gone for good.

"Excellant Buy"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I am very pleased with my Charvel, I have a few other models and for me this plays better and more solidly than all of them. To bad they got bought by Fender though.
Sound
This guitar is definetely a rock monster. The dual active seymours are hot, sustain is very nice as well, for an overall thick sound rich in harmonics. Using it through a clean channel it sometimes becomes neccesary to hold back on the volume knob though, the pickups are so hot that they can create a minor buzz.
Features
Very well suited to last along time with care.
Quality
Excellant finish, and craftmanship. I could not spot any defects.
Value
At the sale price I got it for, you cant beat it. Comparable to most 2 to 3 thousand dollar jobs.
Manufacturer Support
I really havent used support so I cant give a fair analogy.
The Wow Factor
Gots to have!
