"HAD IT FOR 6 YEARS AND WOULD ONLY RECOMMEND IT FOR 5 TO 8 YEAR OLD STARTERS. NOT THAT GREAT."
good kit if ur a little kid and not picky.
Sound
i got this when i was 8 and played it until i was 15. now i have a pdp x7 with ziljian zbt's and zht's. a big upgrade but anyways the cb held up until i was about 13. the sound isnt good at all. in fact its horrible with the stock heads. the cymbals are the cheapest peaces of crud ever. the hardware is extremely cheap and the look isnt great either, but its a good starting kit. it makes noise and is great if your 5 or 6 or maybe 7. u can definitely learn on this but it wont sound crisp or good. good first set for a little kid. i have it now and everyone calls it my ghetto drum set.
Features
horrible hardware.
worst 8 dollar no name cymbals.
base kick broke in a week.
prepare to spend an additional 300$ on the items above.
Ease of Use
easy to assemble and stuff but there is only one sound on it. you either have to tune it so there is no sound coming off the drum or so the sound is extremely high pitched.
Quality
it will hold up if your anywhere from 5 to 9 but it will break once you start to get older.
Value
good for a little kid. u get what u pay for.
Manufacturer Support
never had to deal with them no problems that i didnt fix myself.
The Wow Factor
not a real eye catcher. plain black plastic with stock heads and no name cymbals.
