Excellent replacement neck for a Stratocaster (Player Plus Top) with beautiful flame maple to match that guitar's body. That flame maple is why I got it, and it does not disappoint. I had to ream out tuner holes to 10mm to fit the standard Fender, which honestly was a lot of work, and the two little holes for each tuner were a little tough to line up. But with patience it is possible to reuse standard Fender tuners if you have them.I sanded down the small inner corners of the neck, as they did not *quite* match the exact curve of the corners Stratocaster neck pocket. But they're damn close and now that I sanded those corners to be more rounded, I was able to bring the binding to meet the edge of my pickguard with only a tiny 1mm gap between them. The width seemed to be a match, thank goodness.I like how securely the nut sits between the binding on the edges of the fretboard, and the fact this neck has binding puts it a cut above your typical Stratocaster neck. A bit of Scotchbrite made mine quite smooth and satiny, much smoother than some Squier poly finished necks I've had. This poly finish seems to be of very high quality, and I just had to be careful to avoid that beautiful cream binding. The profile (which is just listed as "C") is thicker than a modern C like a Player neck has, but not as fat as an acoustic or fat Les Paul, or something like that. It feels substantial and is a nice smooth curve. Great for open / barre chords. Vintage frets are a bit short but the shiny gloss…

fretboard finish helps a lot with bending.Great neck for Stratocasters, and likely your only choice on zZounds if you want something with flamed maple and binding.
