Sennheiser's HD 26 headphones have been updated to match the sound quality of the recently updated HMD 26. Additionally, the HD 26 includes a three-stage switch for 'ActiveGard' (off / 110dB / 95dB), same as offered on the HMD/HME 26 headsets.

The HD 26 -- the perfect headphones for radio and television broadcast productions. Because of its closed design this headphones offer a high passive noise attenuation. The HD 26 provides a very accurate sound reproduction for demanding applications. Soft ear cushions and low weight guarantee outstanding wearing comfort even in long term use. The HD 26 comes with ActiveGard limiting technology including three switchable attenuation settings and passive noise attenuation for optimal audio clarity and hearing protection, especially in challenging outdoor broadcasting environments.
