This guitar plays and sounds almost as good as the real deal if not nearly the same if you ask me, the sustain is ridiculously good, when you play a note the entire body of the guitar vibrates Hard like an acoustic guitar, the neck is thinner than an Ibanez prestige I’m pretty sure and it’s the easiest guitar to play that I’ve ever played. Now the real Ernie Ball musicman guitar is probably a little better but for the price this one is insanely good. This one gives the Ibanez prestige a run for its money most definitely. I paid the extra and got the tiger eye paint job, it was worth it because it looks absolutely gorgeous. Hands down probably the best guitar I’ve ever played; granted the guitar does not come set up, so you’ll have to andjust your bridge saddles and truss rod yourself. also you may have to put the nut on yourself. Mine came with the nut not glued on so I had to put it on there, it was super easy though and I got it perfect first try. I recommend wood glue if you have this issue so it’s not permanent, so if you want to upgrade the nut to something better like a bone nut then it’s possible. I also recommend using some lube on the nut for tuning stability, just a couple drops so when you use the whammy it goes back in tune better. Now this thing tunes like you would a Floyd Rose, if you’re playing live and have to change tunings mid set you will need another guitar in the other tuning, it takes a little while to get it tuned up, but its easy. Luckily read more I have the JP70 that I bought used and swapped it with the Nazgul and Sentient pickup set, so I have that covered alongside my Ibanez 7321 with the crunch lab and Liquifire pickups. The Crunchlab and Liquifire pickups almost sound as good as that set I have in the jp70 with the upgrade I did, nevertheless the sound is absolutely amazing I rate this guitar a 7/5 for the price being as fair as it is for it almost being as good as the real Musicman. Bottom line you cannot go wrong with these sterling guitars they’re awesome, I loved the jp70 so much that I ended up buying this one. I finanally think I found my favorite guitar brand for 7 strings for sure, now if I could afford the real Musicman Majesty, I would totally get one in a heartbeat. With this guitar being as good as it is I can’t even imagine how good the real one is. Hope this helps your decision, just YOLO it and buy it. Lol
