What's special about this item?

Feature: What it does:

Fishman Greg Koch Gristle-Tone pickups Hum-free active pickups with two distinct voices
Pin-Lock tuners Exceptional tuning stability; quick string changes

The Reverend Greg Koch Signature Gristlemaster Electric Guitar Inspired by Greg’s extensive vintage collection, but jam-packed with modern innovation. Based on a classic T-style body, we made it a bit larger, added a raised center ridge, and placed a chamber under the pickguard, all for tons of sustain and resonance. Of course, the guitar is equipped with the Fishman Greg Koch Signature Gristle-Tone pickups – hum-free, rechargeable active pickups with two distinct voicings. A roasted maple compound radius neck contributes to the playability, while the Wilkinson Classic 3-Saddle bridge with staggered brass saddles and steel baseplate keeps the tone vintage-inspired. This guitar sounds classic, but with tons of modern options at your fingertips.

Received one from zZounds in pow red. Neck was unplayable. Sharp fret edges. Edge of the neck was sharp and felt rough. Not rounded off at all. The pickups are ok but you can tell thatthey are active and trying to imitate true single coil. Did not bother to try another one as Reverend sends a card with signatures saying they inspected all of this before it leaves their workshop. The color was very nice and the controls felt good. Overall was highly dissatisfied with the guitar at this price point.
Sound
Pickups sound like a cheap imitation of passive single coils.
Features
Roasted maple neck felt terrible.
