"About Pearl kits"
Overall, say it again, Pearl kits are good in any aspect, value, sound, versatility etc
Sound
The quality of workmanship is as important as the choice of wood when talking about drums. Workmanship even more important, because on any kind of wood, if, for example the bearing edges of a drum are not cut down even, the drum will sound bad. The wood used in regards to a drumkit is a choice of sound, personal taste and, last not least, money.
This is a Pearl kit, so you cant go wrong, All Pearl drums are of good quality and build to a high standart. The sound of course is influenced by tuning and choice of heads on any drum kit. Quality of workmanship here is important, so if you want a good drumkit, you cant go wrong with any Pearl
