Full disclosure, I owned the 2017 version of this with the wraparound stop tailpiece bridge in vintage sunburst (beautiful guitar). I sold it after a couple of years to finance another guitar purchase. But with the tremelo bridge, upgraded pickups, and the push/pull coil tap on the tone pot, I had to go back for the 2018 version. At 7 pounds and change, with a wide thin neck profile, it's comfortable and easy to play. And between the 3 way switch and coil split option, you can find nearly any sound you might want.Out of the box I lowered the action with the bridge saddles to my liking. This guitar didn't need any other attention. Fret edges are marble smooth (did you hear that Gibson?). Intonation was good out of the box. All controls are crisp and quiet. Having owned more quality guitars than any reasonable person should, this one holds it's own among any of them. Neck is a fraction wider than my Gibsons or Fenders, but still very comfortable and playable. With the extra tone bells and whistles built into this one compared to my previously owned model, this one will be a keeper, and rank high on the "most played" list.

Musical Background:

50 years guitar - a little gigging in the past, now mostly jam at home.

Musical Style:

Classic rock, blues, Christian, a little reggae and trop rock.
