The PRS Paul Reed Smith SE Custom 22 Electric Guitar adds a more vintage tone and feel to the traditional Custom platform. This guitar has a pronounced mid-range and clarity that provides a sweet, full tonal base, allowing it to easily sit in the mix of your band or recording. Like its 24-fret brother, the SE Custom 22 sports a Vintage Sunburst maple top with mahogany back and 25.5 inch scale.

I have had this guitar now for over a month and it is a fantastic instrument. The finish is absolutely beautiful and flawless. I got the vintage sunburst. When I received the guitar and opened it I was surprised and impressed by the gig bag itself. But when I unzipped the bag and pulled this beauty out I have to admit that a smile crept across my face. I tuned it up, plugged it in and the smile remained. Personally I think the pickups sound great. A nice creamy warmth with sustain for days. It isn't listed in the description but the 2018 models do have the coil tap in the tone knob. The volume does reduce a bit but the sound is so smooth. Clear and sparkly just as I was hoping it would sound. I would highly recommend this guitar. I really love this guitar. So thankful to zZounds for the payment plans. I have purchased quite a few things from them and have never been disappointed. Haven't used manufacturers support but the enclosed literature is informative as is their website so I gave them a 5 star rating for being pro active.
