The Z features MTD's signature asymmetrical neck and compound fingerboard radius, which allows the player hours of comfortable, fatigue free playing. The Buzz Feiten Tuning System provides precise intonation up and down the fretboard. The robust, top-loading, Quick Release Bridge allows for speedy and easy string changes, while the Licensed Hipshot Ultralite Tuners provide confidence without neck dive.

The active pickups and preamp compliment the mahogany body and maple burl top with +/- 6db of boost or cut at 3 specifically chosen frequencies. The matching headstock provides and elegant, high end look and the body contours follow an ergonomic and attractive design which lends itself to many fantastic finishes.
