Bringing the high-octane performance of the 1980s to the fastest-riffing players of the 21st century, Kramer introduces the Pacer Vintage, a guitar equipped to the hilt for tone and performance, with the looks that set an era alight. Flash back to the shred boom of the mid 1980s, and Kramer was the #1 selling electric guitar brand in the world, its fast, powerful designs setting the pace for countless other manufacturers to follow.

Kramer artists of the day included Vivian Campbell, Edward Van Halen, Jeff Golub, Brad Gillis, Neil Schon, Richie Sambora and others-and the Kramer Pacer was the flagship of the range. Patterned after the elegant offset-double-cutaway body and "beak" headstock of the original, and locked and loaded with a pair of premium Seymour Duncan pickups and a Floyd Rose 1000 tremolo bridge, the Pacer Vintage is available in your choice of three high-gloss finishes: Honey Burst with chrome hardware, Orange-Yellow Burst with a tiger graphic on the front and black hardware or Pearl White with matching headstock and black hardware. From its solid maple body to its bolt-on hard maple neck with maple fingerboard, the Pacer Vintage loads in a premium tone wood that is known for optimum resonance, clarity and sustain.

It is all crafted into one supremely playable package, too, with a thin-taper elliptical neck profile and 22 medium-jumbo frets on a 'board with a 14" radius for the optimum marriage of comfort and easy bending. Another crucial Kramer touch is the 25 read more 1/2" scale length that many shredders prefer, which offers tight, thumping lows and shimmering harmonics. A high-output Seymour Duncan JB humbucking pickup in the bridge position and a more vintage-voiced JN in the neck provide the Pacer Vintage with the optimum firepower and versatility. Both are made with genuine Alnico V magnets and wound with 42-AWG copper wire with a DC resistance reading of over 16K ohms. The result gives you everything from scorching lead tones to massive crunch, but always with plenty of clarity and excellent note definition. The JN in the neck reads a cooler 7.74K ohms for smooth, warm tones with impressive articulation. They are controlled by separate volume pots with a push/pull series/parallel tap and a .002mf cap bleed mod on each for endless tonal possibilities. For unbridled whammy action, just grab on tight to that Floyd Rose 1000 tremolo unit-partnered with a locking nut up top for outstanding tuning stability and give it all you've got, for anything from evocative dive bombs to gently warbling tremors. A set of premiums die-cast tuners with efficient 14:1 gear ratio complete the hardware package. Check out the Pacer Vintage today at your authorized Kramer dealer, and dive into the golden era of high-performance shred.

What a guitar! It was definitely worth searching around for. A lot of people do not have this bad boy in stock currently and I saw that zZounds had a customer return! I snatched it right up and now I'm in love with this thing. I have other Kramer Pacers from different eras. Kramer Kramers lol and Gibson Kramers. I gotta say, they nailed the replication of the original 83 Pacer Imperial. The neck is super fast, the finish of course is incredible, and it has that classic Kramer sound. I highly recommend buying this if you are a shredder or super duper lead guitar player. Another thing that's great is that I can leave my vintage Kramer's at home and play the new ones and be just as satisfied. Tremendous guitar! Talk to zZounds and get one today. They are the BEST company to deal with. Thanks again guys!

Sound
The sound is that classic Kramer sound heard on all those killer 80's records. No other guitar sounds like a Kramer.

Features
Everything is useful on this guitar. I love how simple it is. Two humbuckers, 2 volumes, one tone and a Floyd Rose. Rock solid tuning. There's a coil tap, but I rarely use that kind of feature. It does sound great when engaged.

Ease of Use
It's super easy to get a great sound. Plug it into an awesome amp and you're in business.

Quality
This guitar is built like a tank. Solid maple all around. It's a bit on the heavier side. I mean read more "guitar heavy". 8 pounds isn't heavy on it's own, but y'all will understand.

Value
This guitar is a steal for the price. It should be around 1200 bucks, but it's not.

Manufacturer Support
I have dealt with Gibson in the past. It works out if you're not jerky with them. Don't Gibson snob them and they won't Gibson snob you lol.

The Wow Factor
I'm a huge 80's shred lover. I love 80's music and consider it one of the better times for rock/metal. This guitar embodies all of that.
