"The US made pickups are hand made at our factory in California exclusively for Ibanez. Ibanez was the first to ask for much deeper tone from the neck pickup while retaining a bright tone for the bridge, unlike traditional designs that used approximately equal pickup tone. The pickups are dual coil designs in several soapbar shapes, some rounded top and some flat top. In all cases, the Neck pickup tone is very deep and the Bridge pickup tone is bright. i am not gonna do lengthy review .....this bass is expensive .....when i received it i was in awe with craftsmanship...tone ...and play-ability. The wood grain and look of the bass is 2nd to none. i thought about getting a warwick....but after gettting this bass the warwick was after thought....plus i can coax out way more different tones out of this bass then any warwick on market. another advantage this bass has over a warwick is the active/passive toggle switch.......in passive mode this bass sounds like heaven ...with thiick bass.....sweet mids....and pleasant treble that is not irritating . great feature if you battery go dead...or you playing house amp and its hot . this bass came with multi tool to make all necessary adjustments to neck and bridge. on scale of 1-10 this bass is perfect 10 well balanced and no neck dive. if you order this bass you wont regret it ....only negative for some would be string spacing 19mm i have small hands so thats not negative for me . . this bass can do R&B...rock ..funk...country ...jazz.....heavy metal ..blues ...and any other genre you can think of .100%beast!!!
