Thanks to its strong magnetic field, the pickup height can be set very low to achieve better playability while keeping the output balance. Alnico II Pro Custom pickup in bridge position has a copper plate on the bottom and mounted on a steel plate like typical bridge pickup on single cut guitars. This construction dramatically changes the way how the magnetic field acts, contributing to a so-called "Twangy Tone".

- Gotoh/Ibanez co-designed ""In-Tune"" saddles
These saddles have cuts which prevent each string from sideslips. And thanks to the rounded saddle edges and the deeper cuts for the 1st and 6th strings, much less saddle tilting is required when adjusting the string height, and equal string spacing can be achieved. Additionally, The calculated "intonation points" where the strings touch the saddles allow each string to have precise intonation. These saddles are made of Titanium for maximum tonal clarity.
