Its solid African mahogany back and sides provide warmth, while its solid Sitka spruce top adds brightness and a lively response, making it an excellent choice for singer-songwriters and fingerstyle guitarists. The smaller body shape, wider nut width, and comfortable C shape neck also make it exceptionally easy to play. A natural Vintage Gloss finish, complemented by a tortoiseshell pickguard, white binding, a Guild Peak headstock inlay, and open-gear tuners with cream buttons, give the M-40 Standard Natural a timeless look. A Deluxe hardshell case and a Certificate of Authenticity are included.
