Guild F-40E Standard Acoustic-Electric Guitar

The jumbo-sized Guild F-40E Standard acoustic guitar is meticulously crafted in the USA. The F-40E Standard includes an integrated L.R. Baggs Element VTC active pickup system with Volume and Tone controls.

A descendant of the rare Guild F-48 Navarre guitar, produced between 1972 and 1976, the F-40 Standard adds modern touches while retaining its predecessor's vintage flair. Solid African mahogany back and sides provide warmth, while a solid Sitka spruce top adds brightness and clarity -- and combined with the jumbo body size, they produce a big, bold, well-balanced sound.

The comfortable C-Shape neck and Indian rosewood fingerboard also make the guitar easy to play. A Vintage Gloss nitro finish that highlights the beauty of the woods, complemented by a tortoiseshell pickguard, pearloid rosette, Guild Peak headstock inlay, and Deluxe Vintage tuners with cream buttons, gives the F-40 Standard a timeless look. A deluxe hardshell case and a Certificate of Authenticity are included.
