Crisp tone is the name of the game for the G&L Tribute ASAT Classic Bluesboy. Its semi-hollow swamp ash body lends an airy, resonant quality.

What's special about this item?

Feature: What it does:
Bolt-on neck Articulate, punchy, and easily modified.
Maple neck Bright tone, full sustain and strength
Semi-hollow body Enhances sustain, more open tone and feel
Swamp ash body Clear highs, strong mids and huge lows

The G&L ASAT Classic Bluesboy is a factory-modded version of Leo's final word on the traditional single-cutaway bolt-on guitar, and the semi-hollow version takes it further with G&L's distinctive twin voice chambers and f-hole added to a beautiful swamp ash body. Like its solid-body stablemate, this axe delivers a well-balanced pairing of a G&L alnico humbucker designed by Paul Gagon and a single-coil G&L Magnetic Field Design bridge pickup designed by Leo Fender.

Framed in a classic boxed-steel bridge, the single-coil MFD bridge pickup delivers crisp attack with complex harmonics while individual brass saddles offer modern levels of intonation refinement. Flip to the neck 'bucker and you'll discover all the charismatic warmth you could ask for. Put 'em together and you'll find yourself immersed in exploring the limits of this guitar's surprising versatility. What's more, the semi-hollow body softens the midrange attack, accentuating the low and high harmonics.

The Tribute Series ASAT Classic Bluesboy Semi-Hollow is dripping with authentic G&L mojo at a price attainable for every working musician. Once you play a G&L Tribute Series, you'll never look back.

This is a pretty nice guitar it had a couple minor finish flaws on the headstock which I fixed pretty quick , and also I knew when I bought it , I would be replacing the neck pickup (way too Dark) and the harness , I put in a Seymour Duncan Jazz pup with nickle cover and the harness is from KD Paulus Guitar parts tele harness 1966 tele setup, he is the best, on reverb, also a graphtech nut , I strung it up with D’addario EXL 110w strings and did a quick setup and it sounds fantastic, and plays effortlessly, $180 in upgrades and this bluesboy sounds and plays as good as my US tele , a Great guitar for under $700 , love it and thanks to zZounds for making it happen again.
