Overview
The G-45 is equipped with a Gibson Player Port. The Player Port is an original Gibson concept from the early 1960s that has been refined by Gibson's acoustic luthier team to deliver a truly revolutionary sonic improvement that adds a new dimension to the sound. The Gibson Player Port allows you to hear the guitar as you're playing it like you've never heard it before -- the same way your audience hears it -- maximizing the sonic impact for an immersive playing and listening experience.

A gig bag is also included.

I bought this guitar because I have a 2020 G-45 Studio that is my main acoustic guitar and thought the ebony upgrade was worth a try. Honestly I can't put it down, the "player port" is really cool because you can hear your playing more clearly. The neck and ebony fretboard is comcomfortable the other G-45 has a walnut fretboard already the ebony feels faster and smoother. The wood grain and finish are stellar. The soft case is top notch and a welcoming addition with my other G-45 hardshell case was a beast (around 30 lbs) this has all the pockets pouches and straps you need with the protection as well, its a great case. The 2020 G-45 had Fishman electronics and the 2021 has no electronics. I feel like its an upgrade, I prefer to mic up. It's a nice modern take on a classic you might be able to find other guitars in the price range and I mostly bought it because of the ebony fretboard and the soft bag.If you like Gibson Acoustics you'll enjoy this one for sure.
