The 70s Explorer features a solid mahogany body with the iconic Explorer shape that is paired with a mahogany neck with a fast-playing SlimTaper profile. The Indian rosewood fretboard is equipped with 22 medium jumbo frets and adorned with acrylic dot inlays. A 12" fretboard radius makes it equally easy to play first-position chords or deep string bends higher up the neck with no risk of them fretting out. The classic and instantly-identifiable Explorer scimitar-shaped headstock is fitted with smooth-turning Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners and a Graph Tech nut to ensure solid tuning stability.
