I'm pretty cheap when it comes to cases, but when I bought my 1946 Gibson LG-2, I wanted a real case. I have also always been a fan of the chainsaw-style Gibson cases. I tried every case I have (9 of them) and they were all too big. I was skeptical the Gibson would fit but it was made for my LG-2. I took all my stickers from the last 30 years and put them on the new case and now the 46 Gibson looks right at home. It is a perfect fit with good head room. The latches are solid. I'm happy to have forked over the cash for such a great case. The only problem is now I need the Dreadnaught size!!
