This is not my first Gibson “Chainsaw” Type guitar case . I’ve also owned Gibson cases for my vintage 1979,1980 The”SG” , The “Paul” , and The “V” with these type cases . I just purchased a brand new black Flying V so why wouldn’t I stick to a tried and true guitar case that not only protects my investments , but also compliments them . That’s why I bought this beautiful creation that not only holds my V like a mother holds her new born baby but also is as beautiful as the guitar it holds inside . My band mates were blown away when i showed up to rehearsal this weekend with this in my hand. They knew Santa had been good to me this year , but when I set this on the Gibson stools , they all looked in amazement at what I was about to unveil . I teased them by opening one latch at a time , and that sound of each one kept them locked in place and as I slowly lifted the case open , there was that “NEW GIRLFRIEND SMELL” that was released from the case filling everyone’s nostrils and then………..They saw the blue interior , that blue furry lining so plush and classy , and then I displayed my brand new Deluxe Black Flying V . The two together were like a just married Husband and Wife . I recommend this case to anyone thinking about buying a case for their new Gibson Guitar .
