Wow! How I wish I had these 20 years ago!! These Gibraltar "medium" 5709 stands are an EXCELLENT value. I mount one Gibraltar bracket to the middle tier with a Gibraltar mini-boom, as well as other adapters/booms and manage to safely and securely mount 16" crash on top, 6, 8, and 10" splashes plus a Rhythmtech chopblock, or an 18" crash on top, a cowbell and 16" crash and 12" china to the sides, or larger boom extensions for larger 16"/18" chinas. These ARE sturdy enough to keep your equipment safe! Although I am using DW double-pedals and hi-hat stand, all other hardware/stands are absolutely Gibraltar.... because they have fairer prices, great value, and the hardware is beefy enough to allow you MORE options in mounting with far less fear of accidents! TOUGH..... 3-tiered........Hideaway boom, for 65 Smackers! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED VALUE!!!
