I needed to raise my monitors up to ear level. They gave me a little extra desk space. They are on rubber feet and the actual platform on the stand has a layer of foam / rubber. There's a nice lip on the front that gives a little extra support if you tilt them downward. They go together with just a few little allen bolts. The slots on the bolts were not great on mine and got awfully close to stripping. The best part was using the tiny little allen wrench they came with. I couldn't find any instructions but none were needed. After a few carefully chosen words that you can't say on radio or television, my stands were assembled. Once assembled, they are fantastic and do exactly what they are supposed to do. Super solid and they feel like they would support way more than a little monitor. I have 5 inch monitors on these but they would absolutely hold 8s without a problem.

Features
The adjustable height is great. Just be advised that if you only want to raise something around 3-6 inches, these are not the solution. I probably have mine raised about a foot or so. They are great because the elevation gives me a little extra room for what nots on my desk. Headphones etc...

Quality
Super solid. The assembly was a little annoying. The bolts aren't great. Using a tiny little allen wrench is never fun. Find a bit driver with the correct size.
