The Arrow-1000NT stands for “non-tremolo”, delivering this bold and angular guitar shape with a recessed TonePros TOM bridge and string-thru-body design. It offers a neck-thru-body design with mahogany body, 3-piece maple neck, reverse headstock, and Macassar ebony fingerboard with triangular white pearloid inlays. Designed to provide the tones for modern rock and metal, the Arrow-1000NT features a set of direct-mount Fishman Fluence Modern Humbucker active pickups (alnico in the neck and ceramic in the bridge), with push-pull control to select voicings. So i had been eye balling this guitar for a while now and finally decided to give it a go. There are a few issues that i had to fix which have left me wanting to return it. Has nothing to do with zZounds and everything to do with quality control of LTD. 1. Neck dropping down from unbalanced strap notches. I have to fix this with a drill and that makes me not happy. I have yet to contact a smith to do this. 2. The first fret on the low E has a loud string noise. Had to adjust the truss rod and it fixed it 90% of the way. 3. The pickups were so high i couldn't play properly so i had to manually lower them with the Philips screws. they flopped around in their seats. that's how loose they were.4. The factory strings broke upon tuning so zZounds mailed me a set of my choosing. 5. There aren't really any case options besides the Alexi case which is super expensive. I knew this going into it, but still needs a mention.6. The guitar has trouble staying in tune with large bends/harmonics. I retune ever song i play and that feels excessive for a really nice guitar like this. Overall i am extremely let down and feel cheated out of my dream guitar. I will be looking to return it if possible because there shouldn't be this many issues. When i first got it it was nothing but smiles, but now i dont even want to play it. Frustrating beyond belief.

Sound
The sound quality is super bright and does not get heavy for music like The black dahlia murder or Children of read more Bodom. Sounds like something is missing in the sound. that extra oomph on the power chords isn't there.

Features
The Fishman Fluences are nice. No issues with them.

Ease of Use
Really easy to get fast work up and down the neck. Large range of motion allows me to play more complex arpeggios.

Quality
From your eye it looks like a milliion bucks, but the quality is sub par. not worth the price tag even remotely.

Value
no, it should be priced around $750 and definitely not over $1000.

Manufacturer Support
no

The Wow Factor
hands down one of the sexiest guitars i have ever seen. it is the only thing going for this guitar.
