I was using 11-50 D'Addarios Pro steels then I switched to 10-48 and it is so much easier to play. But all strings I bought broke so fast, specifically my high E at the ball of the string. These are the first strings that last as long as I want them to. I play very hard with lots of dive bombs as well as alternating tunings on stage and they hold up fine. They do not stay in tune as well as other brands, a well worth trade off in my book. If youre tired of borrowing guitars mid set at gigs try these!
