The Hummingbird was Gibson's first square-shouldered acoustic model and has remained one of the world's most beloved and instantly identifiable acoustic guitars since its debut in 1960. Renowned for its versatility, it is equally at home playing first-position chords or punchy acoustic lead lines, and it has been embraced by artists across countless genres for over six decades.

Epiphone's Hummingbird Standard EC, an Inspired by Gibson version of the legendary Hummingbird, is updated with modern features that make this iconic guitar more expressive than ever.

The Hummingbird Standard EC features all-solid-wood construction, with a solid mahogany back and sides paired with a solid spruce top -- the classic tonewood recipe that delivers the sweet, balanced tones the Hummingbird is famous for. The body also includes a cutaway, providing easier access to the upper frets and expanding the guitar's expressive potential.

The mahogany neck is fitted with a rosewood fretboard featuring 20 standard frets and adorned with elegant mother-of-pearl split parallelogram inlays, a hallmark of the Hummingbird design. A rosewood belly-up bridge with a bone saddle, along with a bone nut, further enhances tonal clarity and sustain.

The redesigned epoxy-style pickguard features the iconic hummingbird, butterfly, and flowers graphics that make the guitar instantly recognizable. High-quality Grover Rotomatic tuners ensure rock-solid tuning stability, so you can focus more on playing and less on retuning. read more
