I bought these blemeshed and the only thing blemeshed was the box. The boost circut seem worthless. I knew I should have listened to it before I drilled a hole in my guitar. The 81/85 set is great but the ONLY difference between this set and any other 81/85 set is the boost circut. For the price I paid I am very happy but if paying full price, my advice is to get the regular set or the ZW set if you need long post pots and get your boost from a pedal. The most important thing to keep in mind is that all of the signature sets still have the same standard pickups in them, just with different hardware. The boost circut in the King set and long post LP style pots in the ZW set, otherwise, standard EMG 81/85 pickups. Hope this helps.
