Designed to work flawlessly in combination with virtually any bass drum pedal, the footboard angle, position, and operation of DW's 5000 and 7000 Series Hi-Hats are specially matched to complement and optimize the performance of DW 5000 and 7000 Series Bass Drum Pedals. DW Hi-Hats also now include the new 379 "KeyLock" clutch, which eliminates unwanted loosening of the top hi-hat cymbal during performance.
