Damper Resonance -- achieving a more naturally beautiful resonance

The Privia is a great line with lots of options but so is the Celviano. I am not quite sure why Casio came out with both lines other than the idea that Celviano is more like a piece of furniture. The AP 260 has 8w speakers compared to the Privia 780 at 20w speakers. Some reviews claimed that the Celviano doesn't deliver authentic acoustic sound but when played over my monitors the deep bass notes sound like they are hitting strings. The artificial ivory texture on the keys (exclusive to the Celviano) certainly feels fake but the Privia is shamelessly just plastic. I got the Celviano because I like the furniture look of the console and because zZounds made me a deal since I had bad experience with scratch and dent model of another piano. Like always zZounds took care of me and went well beyond expectations. That is why I continue to prefer them over others that use the same warehouse to move goods. You won't be disappointed with this particular piano. The keys are wonderfully weighted. If you have big money you wish to part with go with yamaha. If you are on a budget but want most all the features offered by others charging 3 times the price you can't go wrong with Casio.
