A Chopper can also add a distinctly different flavor when used in place of an X-hat, or laid on a snare drum to create a funky techno-type slap. Really enjoy this Chopper for all types of grooves. Adds a nice color to any hi hat pattern or works as a stand alone. It's an acoustic cymbal that sounds like an electronic effect. I'm finding new ways to use it all the time. Lots of fun!
