The Microtubes 500v2 bass head distill the power and sound of the popular 900 watt Darkglass amps to a smaller size. With the instantly recognizable sleek Darkglass design on the outside, the M500V2 packs a real punch on the inside, despite their seemingly inconspicuous size.

Sleek 500 watt bass amplifier featuring the signature Dual Microtubes drive engine. Cab sim designs allows for 3 user-programmable impulse responses. The 6-band graphic EQ and studio-grade compressor allow for the ultimate shaping of your tone. Aux input to allow you to practice or perform with backing tracks.

Got this amp last night. Plugged it into my cab (SWR Goliath III 410) in the rehearsal space, and dialed a beast of a tone in about 45 seconds. Took it to my show tonight and put it to work. Worked as expected, like a champ. Super quiet DI out worked great. For one song, Breed by Nirvana, I kicked on an MXR M85 Bass Distortion on top of the Darkglass drive engine. This head takes pedals well. The only downside is that when I bought mine in the second week of December, the footswitches are on backorder...but my order is in!
