Hey, it's Nick from zZounds with some things to know about the Sabian HHX Complex Medium Hi-Hats. This is the 14-inch variety.

These were made with some trickle-down technology from Sabian's other lines, like Artisan, Legacy, and the Evolution line. You can kind of see that Artisan styling there, obviously the HHX with the raw bell—it's a hallmark of HH and HHX hammering, using this very modern style of hammering that emits great low, complex, and dark tones, ideal for the studio.

These are my studio kit hi-hats, great for rock, jazz, even pop. It’s just a nice medium-weight hi-hat that produces really, really high price point-style tones. Like I said before, the Legacy, Artisan, and Evolution series styles all melded into one by Sabian.
