The two-piece body is crafted from ash selected for weight and grain, and sports a Heavy Relic flash coat lacquer finish. The ultra-stable, tinted quartersawn maple neck has a mid-'60s Oval C profile that's ideal for any playing style. It's capped with a flat-laminated AAA dark rosewood 9.5" radius fingerboard that is fitted with 21-6105 narrow and tall frets, which are the most popular requested size and very comfortable to play. Original techniques and tools are used, ensuring the neck and body contours are period-correct and packed with authentic Fender mojo.

Three Hand Wound '60/'63 Strat pickups deliver sweet 1960s single-coil sound. The middle pickup is reverse wound/reverse polarity which cancels hum when used in combination with the neck or bridge pickups, accessed with modern 5-way switching and Vintage Modified #2 wiring scheme.
