The latches look cheap and feel flimsy (although, OK, maybe they're modeled on vintage latches and back in the day, they would not have been TSA-level latches, I get it), and for the price, the pattern and coloring on the case look terrible. *Very* cheap looking, and ugly. The best thing about the case is the little Gibson plate on the side. The interior is not super plush or posh, but it's smooth, and not awful. And I don't know if it's a bad thing, or an indication of quality, but the thing is heavy. Like a chubby Les Paul in its own right (mine weighs in at 11lbs 3.5oz). Maybe it'll turn out to be really sturdy at least. But with a guitar inside the case, it's not something you want to lug around all the time. I'm just glad I got it during a good clearance sale.
