The Triad Standback is an innovative amp stand for instrument amplifiers of all kinds. Because the amplifier stays in contact with the floor, the Standback allows for more bass frequency response from the amp due to coupling. Learn More...

9 out of 10Ease of Use:
You will need to unsnap the ends each time you use it because they become twisted, but this only takes a few seconds of time.
Overall:
Put some black gaffers tape over the logo and you've got a really streamlined amp stand. We use these on our church stage and they do what they need to do without putting the amp two feet off the ground, like other amp stands.

10 out of 10Feature:
I NEED an amp stand, but I don't like to pack one around due to the weight and bulk. This thing folds up to almost nothing and weighs almost nothing.
Quality:
I've been using one for over two years every weekend and it shows no signs of wearing out.
Value:
Smaller, lighter, less expensive, better.
Desirability:
This is one of the most ingenious solutions to a common problem I have ever seen (if you want to see another check out the Shubb Talon guitar stand). Even people that don't play guitar have asked about it and been impressed with the design.
Sound:
Great. It tilts the amp back so I can hear the top end of my sound. Tilting the amp allows me to play at a slightly lower volume and does not blast my sound straight out into the crowd, which is great for the front of house engineer and the overall sound of the band.
Ease of Use:
Snap it together, sit the amp on top of the little foam thingie and tilt it back against the nylon straps. How can you go wrong?
Support:
At the time I purchaced mine they were only sold direct from the company, and it was a flawless tranaction, so they must be OK.
Overall:
I will buy another one if it is lost or wears out. The only thing more I could think of to ask for would be a version of the same thing that tilts WAY back to the angle of a monitor wedge, for those rare occasions when I have to play in a really tight space and have to stand so close that I am literally bumping into my amp.
