10 out of 10Feature:
It's lighweight, easy to transport. It has an EQ on the rear, but I never use it - I just set it flat and tweak the EQ through the board. My only complaint is that it comes with a relatively short power cord. Once it's up on the speaker stand, you need another extension cord.
Quality:
Seems to be well built and durable, but I've only played a few gigs with it. I wish it had a padded case - I can't find one on the market that fits it.
Value:
For what I use it for, it's a good value for what I paid. I'm not sure if the "real" Mackie's are worth another $300 (for a 12", not even a 15").
Desirability:
If you have the money, buy the high-end stuff, but for a budget, the Thump is a good deal.
Sound:
I use this for my guitar sythesizer, and everything sounds great - vibes, B3 organ, keyboards, strings, etc. This really made a differece in my live sound. I gave it a 9 only because at low volumes (like a practice room) it is really noisy, but once you turn up to moderate performance volume, it's clean.
Ease of Use:
Plug and play.
Support:
The first one I bought was really noisy - they sent out a new one, no questions asked, with a pre-paid UPS return slip for the old one. Very nice.
Overall:
It's working for me. If I hit the lottery, I'll upgrade, but this works great for my club gigs.

10 out of 10Feature:
I like being able to bypass the onboard EQ...
Quality:
So far so good...
Value:
Can't beat the price for the sound quality you get!
Desirability:
nice looking, but let's face it, they're SPEAKERS!
Sound:
Sounds great, really does THUMP!
Overall:
I won't be using these for outdoor events, as I would just be worried about the power. I plan on adding the TH-18s sub, and expect that will change my opinion. All-in-all a great purchase. No complaints at all!
