Sound:
I tried 3 or 4 MIM telecaster before I bought it, and this Squier sounds better (to my ears) A good clean and punchier overdriven sound. The best part of all: I paid 1/3 of the MIM telecaster price.
Feature:
Come on! its a Telecaster, two pickups, two knob and a switch. Period.
Ease of Use:
Just put this baby straight on to a good amp or even a PC simulator sofware and rock on! Yeah baby.
Quality:
You got what you paid. A good guitar for least than 200 bucks its a good deal.
Value:
For the price you cant beat this.
The Wow Factor:
Its just looks wonderful and feels better than a MIM telecaster.
Overall:
This is an excelent guitar for the beginner guitarist or a more advanced player. And the best of all, you can buy better pickups and hardware to have the best guitar for the money

Sound:
AS far as sound is concerned, I swear to you, it sounds just like the real Fender. I am not lying, thats the honest to God truth. I didn't believe it either until I bought one. Although the neck pickup can be a little weak, the bridge pickup has all the twang you need and all the tone you need (to match my Johnny Cash licks).
Feature:
THE guitar did not come with accessories. The most useful feature on this guitar would have to be the action. Perfect. I mean PERFECTION! Better than any Fender I've ever played. I wish though that the bridge was string-thru-body. It seems easier that way. Also a better job on the neck please. More finish. It was fast at first but now after 1 1/2 years of daily play, it has worn off.
Quality:
THIS product is made fairly good. This is where the rating will drop I'm afraid. Let me tell you like it is: I love my guitars and I keep the best care of them but this guitars finish sucks. It chips so, so easily and scratches so, so easily. The finish on the neck has already worn out. As with all Squiers, it seems, the jack is loose and has to be tightened frequently. The metal parts tarnish. This product can be compared to a Dodge vehicle. Great at first then it just all falls apart at once. Just the other day I was polishing it up and saw my jack was loose, the metal around the pickup selector switch was tarnished, the metal under the saddles wans rust, one of my screws on the pickguard was rusted, it was sratched up, and everything. This guitar is not the best as far as apperance goes, but besides the loose jack, everything else is 99.9% reliable. I would not use it on the road because of poor quality. I would not and am not going to use this guitar as my main instrument for more that 2 years (I've had it for 1 1/2 years). If you are patient, you could keep it for 3 years tops, but I'm not. I'm definatley upgrading in September 2004.
Value:
I think it is a resonable price for the tele, but probably about $20 less is perfect.
Manufacturer Support:
I wouldn't know about warranties or assistance because I do everything myself, but if I had to, I wouldn't hesitate to call up Fender.
The Wow Factor:
Beautiful instument. I love Telecasters.
Overall:
Bottom line: TO HAVE THIS GUITAR AND LIKE IT YOU MUST MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS
1. YOU ARE A BEGINNER OR AN INTERMEDIATE "PICKER"
2. YOU ARE PATIENT
3. YOU DON' MIND SOME DINGS, CHIPPINGS, OR SCRATCHES
If you meet these, buy it without thinking twice. If you don't meet any one of these, walk away and don't look back at Affinity series. I am upgrading to a Squier standard tele in 6 months. I just don't think this guitar will hold up FOR ME for another year. I can feel it falling apart and really ticking me off. But again, I am picky (I about cried when i chipped it) and very impatient. Its your call. If you meet those qualifications, buy it; if not, please don't. Go a little higher like Squier Standard or Fender Standard.

Sound:
I owned this guitar for ten years. Played it on stages, in recording studios. This I can swear by: the sound equals if not surpasses the standard Fender model's! Professional results through and through.
Quality:
This is the only place where you may feel the compromise allowing for the affordable price: it is not as well put together and finished as the Fender equivalent. It will not take abuse as well as its brethern of higher pedigree.
Value:
Excellent value per $$ paid!!!
The Wow Factor:
I'd love to own one again, although I have to admit I prefer the American series Tele I currently play...
Overall:
A guitar that's excellent value per $ paid. Delivers more than it promises. If treated with care will supply years and years of joy.
