10 out of 10Feature:
The unit I bought about a year ago came with a bag full of rack screws. The holes in the rails are smaller than the 90's style, which required mounting clips. This is a good thing.
Quality:
I just bought another one based upon the rugged design and I've always liked SKB's rack cases. The design is innovative and more light-weight than typical road cases. It's plastic, but HARD plastic. A definite improvement over the 90's style versions (which I also own). I have been using one of these as a computer server rack (and servers get HEAVY) and these cases don't stress it. I'm getting yet another one because I stole the rack from my server room to expand the studio.
About a year ago, when I got my first one of this version the holes did not line up and I had to exchange it for a replacement. It was confirmed with Zzounds that there was a bad line of these, however, it wasn't that much of an inconvenience since Zzounds delivery is lightening fast. In fact, that's the MAIN reason I order almost everything from Zzounds.
Value:
Can't beat the prices. Sturdy, lightweight, they look really cool/modern.
Desirability:
As stated above, these look really cool with a modern look. They also handle well when you pick them up due to the comfortable handles.
Sound:
This thing sounds killer! No, just kidding. But I'm yet to test the acoustics when yelling through it but you never know.
Ease of Use:
Self explanatory.
Support:
Never needed it, other than dealing with Zzounds.
Overall:
I'd buy this product again.
