"Not supposed to be an overhead drum Mic"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I know this is way after the fact, but the guy who tried using this as an overhead drum Mic is complaining about something like his apple doesn't taste like an orange. This isn't a drum Mic (or, at least, not one I would use as a drum Mic) and overhead drum Mixx should be condenser, not dynamic. Rating a product poorly because you don't know how to use it correctly is a waste of people's time.

This mic sounds great for vocals. It's got A really natural sound and it's loud but not to the point of distorting.

"not good for drums."

Overall: 2 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Sound
i tried as an overhead for drums, picks up a lot of low end hum type of noise when close to the cymbals, and if far (10" or more) it doesn't pick up unless gain applied. can not record decent acustic guitar either.
Features
good cables.
Quality
metal body, feels heavy, and solid.
Value
i don't know.
Manufacturer Support
never needed. i sold them second hand in 3 months.
